WITH the number of locals and tourists walking around the city streets, it would be helpful if they had a few more benches to sit on, says Cllr Betty Manning (FG).
“We should be looking at putting in more seating wherever we can, for elderly people especially,” she said at the monthly meeting of Kilkenny Borough Council.
There is a possibility, for example, of having seating similar to that newly added on the Castle Road.
