Jerpoint Glass has introduced a vibrant poppy colour to its colour palette this Christmas.

The family-run business is also launching an online shop in December, featuring illustrations by Kathleen Leadbetter, exclusive online offers, information about glassblowing, events at the studio and videos.

Visitors to the Jerpoint Studio in Stoneyford at Christmastime can enjoy mince pies and coffee while browsing through the wide range of giftware. The Christmas Corner has an abundance of unusual decorations to enhance a home this festive season.

Jerpoint is offering free shipping in Ireland for purchases over €75, and all customers are entered into a free draw.

Visitors to the glassblowing studio can watch the glass being made by the master craftsmen from 9am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and from 9am to 2pm on Fridays.

Also this Christmas, Jerpoint is hosting an exhibition of paintings by eight local artists, including Carmel Walsh, Joanne Donohue Doyle, Joan Fitzgerald Cahill, Mairead Holohan, Noah Hamilton, Roisin Leadbetter, Ross Stewart and Sid Evans.

The studio is open from 10am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and noon to 5pm on Sunday. It will be closed from 2pm on Christmas Eve until December 30.
