Kilkenny has the lowest success rate in the country when it comes to the driver theory test, with less than half of candidates who sit the exam passing it.
According to figures from the Road Safety Authority (RSA), the county has a success rate of less than 50%. Limerick was the highest-scoring county, with a success rate of over 84%.
Last month, it was revealed that Kilkenny is also the least successful county when it comes to passing the practical driving test. According to the Road Safety Authority, those who took the driving test in Kilkenny last year had a pass rate of 39.70% – compared to the national average of 54.56%.
