THE Mayor’s Gala Concert, which was begun last year as a Christmas initiative to raise funds for St Vincent de Paul, will not take place until late January or early February of next year.
THE Mayor’s Gala Concert, which was begun last year as a Christmas initiative to raise funds for St Vincent de Paul, will not take place until late January or early February of next year.
Mayor Sean O’ hArgain revealed the news at this month’s meeting of Kilkenny Borough Council. He said there was not enough time left between now and Christmas to organise the event properly.
