Even the best charities are finding it difficult to gather funds. And The Samaritans are no different.
In an effort to raise money, the Kilkenny-Carlow branch hold a car-boot sale this weekend. The Bridge Centre, opposite the Watershed, loughboy is the velue and there will be 100 car-boots full of stuff and there will be a number of stalls inide the centre for people to examine and investigate. Regional director of the Samaritans, Gill Leo has stressed the importance of going on Sunday and helping the organisation which is on the front line, helping those who are distressed, suicidal or in danger of self harm.
