A KILKENNY woman’s bid to become the next UK Apprentice has come to an end.

A KILKENNY woman’s bid to become the next UK Apprentice has come to an end.

Jane McEvoy was among the 16 contestants competing in season eight of The Apprentice on BBC One, but was knocked out of the competition on Wednesday night after having been a member of a losing team on three occasions.

The 28-year-old, who founded food manufacturing company McEvoy Family Foods along with her husband Gary, entered the contest earlier this year for a chance to go into business with multi-millionaire Lord Alan Sugar.
