“While it is not all about points we have to give a special mention to Rachel Ní Bhriain, Cáit Ní Mhaolmhuaidh and Kiere Ní Mhurchú who all broke the magical 600 points with Rachel Ní Bhriain receiving the maximum seven A1s. These, along with all the other great results show the commitment of not only the students but the dedication of the teachers to providing a quality education,” he added.

He said there were scenes of relief and joy in the corridors as the results were collected and scrutinised.

“Next step CAO college places will be offered next Monday and we hope that they get their preferred choices. We wish all our students the very best in their future careers. Gur fada buan iad go léir,” he said.
