NAVAL divers searching for a missing Kilkenny man off the coast of Kerry have recovered a body.
The body, which has not yet been identified, was discovered shortly before 2pm this afternoon. It was found in the course of a search for a 32-year-old man from Tullaroan, who fell into the water last night while fishing on Valentia Island.
Frantic efforts were made to save him when he fell in around 10.30pm, but he disappeared after 10 minutes. Valentia Lifeboat Station searched for him until 3am last night, resuming at 6am this morning.
The man was among a group of seven who were angling at Culloo Rock on the north side of Valentia Island.
