Five stores shortlisted for award

Five bookshops in Kilkenny, Dubray Books, Eason Kilkenny, Khans Books Ltd, Stone House Books and The Book Centre are in with a chance of being shortlisted in this year’s search for the Bord Gáis Energy Bookshop of the Year.

Five bookshops in Kilkenny, Dubray Books, Eason Kilkenny, Khans Books Ltd, Stone House Books and The Book Centre are in with a chance of being shortlisted in this year’s search for the Bord Gáis Energy Bookshop of the Year.

With only two weeks left to vote, the competition is hotting up for this prestigious title. Voting closes at midnight on October 14.

The Bord Gáis Energy Bookshop of the Year award was introduced last year to recognise and support bookshops who contribute so much to local communities and the Irish book industry. Vote now and be in with the chance to win one of two prizes of €500 of electricity from Bord Gáis Energy, a €500 holiday voucher and many other prizes.

The list of bookstores are Dubray Books, Eason Kilkenny, Khans Books Ltd, Stone House Books, Dalgan House and The Book Centre.

The winner of this prestigious award will win a prize package including €4,000 worth of electricity credit with Bord Gáis Energy, a trophy and a commemorative plaque. To vote go to www.bordgaisenergybookclub.ie.
