Kilkenny local authorities will host its annual information evening on the Green Schools programme in partnership with An Taisce on Tuesday, September 24.
A number of sessions will run over the course of the evening, which will inform Green School co-ordinators of their current theme and what is required over the next academic year to complete the seven-step programme. Schools interested in starting the programme can attend the general information session where the programme will be outlined in full.
There will also be case studies presented of what schools have undertaken to become eligible for the award. For more information on the information evening, contact Bernadette Moloney, the Environmental Awareness Officer with Kilkenny local authorities on 056-7794470.
