The mower the merrier

THERE are only five more days left to register to be part of the Guinness World Record Ride On Mower Attempt which takes place this Sunday in Dunnamaggin GAA field.

THERE are only five more days left to register to be part of the Guinness World Record Ride On Mower Attempt which takes place this Sunday in Dunnamaggin GAA field.

Organisers hope to raise 50,000 euro which will be donated to the Camphill Community and the Dunnamaggin GAA club. To date 600 mowers are registered and it is hoped that 1,000 will take part. Kilkenny County Council have confirmed that they will enter a team of ten to take part in the event.

To get on your Ride On Mower for Camphill, log onto www.rideonmowerworldrecordattempt.com or visit their Facebook page GAA Dunnamaggin World Record Attempt. The challenge will start at 1pm and people from all sporting clubs and community organisations are urged to support the event.
