Gardai renew appeal over missing man

Landowners in the Ballyfoyle area are being asked to check their lands and any vacant buildings as the search for missing Kilkenny man, Dean Roche continues.

Landowners in the Ballyfoyle area are being asked to check their lands and any vacant buildings as the search for missing Kilkenny man, Dean Roche continues.

Dean Roche is missing since March 22 when he travelled to Ballyfoyle to purchase a car. The car was crashed a short time after and there were a number of sightings of the 31-year-old in the locality later that day.

However despite extensive searches by gardai, which involved garda helicopters, dogs and sub aqua teams there have been no definite sightings since.

“We are asking people living in the locality to thoroughly check their lands and especially any outbuildings or vacant properties,” said Inspector Joe Carton who is heading up the investigation.

Anyone with information should contact Kilkenny gardai on (056) 777 5000.
