Prison sentence for burglary

A MAN was sentenced to three months in prison for an offence of burglary, at Kilkenny District Court last week.

A MAN was sentenced to three months in prison for an offence of burglary, at Kilkenny District Court last week.

Martin Clowry (jnr) of 3 O’Loughlin Road, Kilkenny was convicted of the offence that took place at Bianconi Court, Abbey Street, Kilkenny on August 17, 2010.

The court heard that he was identified in CCTV footage and that he then made a full admission to the offence.

The court also heard that he is currently serving a sentence in the Midlands Prison, and Judge John Lindsay sentenced him to three months’ imprisonment for the offence.
