Due to a number of new contract wins, McCreery Contract Cleaning, Kilkenny’s premier cleaning company, has announced the creation of 25 new jobs over the next six months.
McCreery Contract Cleaning currently employs 43 people across Kilkenny, Carlow, Laois, Tipperary and Waterford. The company is highly regarded for its attention to detail, professionally trained and skilled staff and providing cleaning services tailored to client’s requirements.
Already working with the iconic Kilkenny Castle, new clients comprise a number of high-profile visitor destinations including St. Mary’s Cathedral and Rothe House in Kilkenny and EMO Court House in Laois. The company has also won new contracts with the Heritage Council’s national head office in Kilkenny and Teagasc to provide cleaning services to its offices across Laois, Tipperary, Carlow, Kilkenny and Waterford.
“We are committed to providing an excellent service at great value and are very proud to have secured a number of new contracts wins across Kilkenny and the South East. It is a real testament to the hard work and dedication of the team. We are looking forward to recruiting and training new staff members over the next six months”, said Jennifer McCreery, founder and MD of McCreery Contract Cleaning.
One of the biggest challenges faced by the cleaning sector is that, with the current economy, clients now expect to pay less for the same cleaning and maintenance services. With latest research finding that almost nine out of ten cleaning contractors have made cutbacks and staff reductions in response to this*, McCreery Contract Cleaning is bucking this trend with new contract wins and hiring staff.
Founded in 2000 by Jennifer McCreery, McCreery Contract Cleaning provides a range of cleaning services to over 70 domestic and corporate clients across the South East, including offices, schools, restaurants, banks, clinics, hospitals, hotels and private homes. Staff are fully trained to the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) standards and McCreery Contract Cleaning, whose Head Office is based in Kilkenny city, is the South-East’s only accredited provider of this training. The company is committed to ‘green’, and use only environmentally friendly and biodegradable products.
