A local music student had the honour of performing at a prestigious gala concert, following on from his performance in a Silver Medal exam.

Based on his brilliant performance in the Grade V Silver Medal exam, third year student at St Kieran’s College Niall Brennan was invited to perform at the event in the Heritage Hotel, Portlaoise. Niall performed ‘Tarantella’ on Clarinet and was then presented with his medal.

Gala concerts are then held in different regions throughout the country.
