Man dead following crash

A MAN has died following an accident on the M9 this afternoon.

A MAN has died following an accident on the M9 this afternoon.

Emergency services remain at the scene. The accident happened shortly before 4pm. The southbound section of the motorway between Knocktopher and Danesfort remains closed.

Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to contact Thomastown gardai on (056) 775 4222
