THE YOUNG and the not so young were out in force to celebrate the launch of the ‘Come Home to Tullaroan’ in Connolly’s Bar.

Seven-week-old Steven Jordan Doyle, son of musicians Stefan Jordan Doyle and Holly Jordan Doyle who provided the music for the night was one of the youngest revellers at the launch.

Hurling legend Tommy Walsh launched the event and was available for signing the calenders on the night. The DVD was taken in 1987 by Dan Grace of the local pageant celebrating 100 years of the GAA in Tullaroan and features Micheal O Muircheartaigh and Mary Craddock as commentators. The calendar has photos of Tullaroan people in each decade since the 1900s.

The DVDs and calendars are on sale in the shops locally.
