A local photographer has won the title of ‘Wedding Photographer of the Year’ at WeddingsOnline.ie 2013 Award.

Clara man Nick O’ Keefe bagged the award at a glamorous ceremony held at a gala dinner in the stylish surroundings of Clontarf Castle on Monday February 18. With 34 hard fought categories, there was much friendly competition between guests representing the country’s finest wedding businesses and services.

“I believe couples book me for their weddings because of my honest approach, unobtrusive style and easy-going personality,” said Nick.

“It’s the biggest day of their lives and couples want to enjoy it. I let my portfolio speak for itself and winning Wedding Photographer of the Year validates all of the hard work but also motivates me to keep improving.”

Nick said he would also like to thank all the brides and grooms he has worked with in the past and for everyone who voted for him. He has a state of the art studio at Hennessy’s Garden Centre, Clara, Co Kilkenny.

He also specialises in family portraits, communions, schools photography and commercial work. For more information visit www.nickokeeffephotography.ie.

Over 28,000 brides and grooms nationwide voted for their top suppliers and venues in a wide range of categories, who were then judged by a panel of expert industry specialists, with decisions based on quality of work and a real wedding experience.

“The annual WeddingsOnline.ie Awards have been enormously important in recognising the successes, dedication and extremely high levels of quality and service given by the Irish wedding industry,” said Peter Bryans, MD of WeddingsOnline.ie Ltd.

“The standards keep improving year on year. From bouquets to bridal wear, music to makeup, castles to cakes, the many award-winning wedding suppliers throughout the Irish wedding industry can be extremely proud of their achievements.”
