There was widespread relief this morning as over 1,000 teenagers around the city and county opened their Junior Cert results.
This year 1,047 students sat the state exam in schools across the city and county.
The reaction was widely positive. Prinicipal at the CBS Tom Clarke said that across the board pupils had performed strongly.
“We had 112 students sitting the exams. A number of students got straight A’s but across the spectrum pupils performed well,” he added.
