Kilkenny to host open training session as All-Ireland Final build-up begins

The Kilkenny senior hurling team will host an open training session in UPMC Nowlan Park this Tuesday, 11 July at 6:30pm.

Derek Lyng secured passage to his first All-Ireland Hurling Final as Kilkenny Manager on Sunday, the Noresiders defeated Clare 1-25 to 1-22 to set-up a rematch of the 2022 decider with Limerick.

Man of the match Eoin Cody's tally of 1-5 aided Kilkenny's route to victory, as the Banner's spirited performance fell short at the semi-final stage for the second year running.

The county's hurling supporters can now look forward to two week's of excitement and supporters are encouraged to don their black and amber colours and meet the team on Tuesday evening.

There will be no access to the pitch on the night but players will be available for photographs and to sign autographs at the front of the stand before training.
