Kilkenny basketballer Lucy Coogan has made a significant impact to the Ireland U20 Women’s trip progress in the FIBA European Championships in Romania so far.
Coogan is part of a 12-person squad and netted a basket to remember in a 69-59 defeat of Ukraine.
The win means the Irish team will qualify for the semi-finals with a win against Iceland tomorrow (Thursday) at 1.30pm Irish time.
