Former Irish Olympian and Paulstown native Darren O'Neill celebrated his 40th birthday on Saturday with an intimate party alongside family and close friends.
O'Neill, who captained the Irish boxing team at the 2012 Olympic Games is the son of the late Ollie O'Neill, a former GAA referee and boxing coach.

"Thanks to all for the birthday wishes. 40 years, where does time go," O'Neill posted to social media.
"Huge thanks to my wonderful mam Carmel and wife Ali for organsing a little party, with my family and loved ones, to celebrate the occasion.
"My body definitely feeling all those 40 years," he added.
