LOCAL ELECTION 2024 - Where do we stand in Kilkenny at the start of DAY TWO?

Counting continued well past 3am this morning (Sunday) as the results from the Callan-Thomastown LEA were all wrapped up.

Earlier on Saturday, the first election results from Piltown LEA were revealed, seeing two councillors elected.

Today, we are expecting Piltown LEA to be all wrapped up and likewise for Castlecomer LEA (where we have yet to receive a first official count).

The couting will also commence today in the Kilkenny City LEA, but it could be tomorrow (Monday) before we know the very final results there.
