Earlier this morning, a motorist was stopped by gardaí on the N10 near Lyrath.
Their vehicle was transporting what a garda spokesperson described as an '800kg block'.
The block was 'unsecured' according to gardaí, thus a potential hazard for other road users.
Gardaí are urging drivers to think about the implications of transporting heavy and/or large loads and to ensure that they're secured safely.
