Joe Biden addressing the Dáil yesterday
Minister of State Malcolm Noonan stated that Joe Biden's speech in the Dáil yesterday 'touched on all the right messages'.
"It was such an honour to be present in our Dáil chamber as history was made by the address of President Biden to both houses of the Oireachtas and a packed gallery," Noonan said.
"For me he touched on all the right messages including what he referred to as the single biggest threat facing humanity; climate change.
"Poignant moments too as he mentioned Senator Rebecca Moynihan's new baby girl who was with her in the chamber and Senator Gerry Buttimer thanking President Biden for supporting marriage equality with Senator Buttimer's husband in the gallery.
"A day of days."
