Last Saturday, gardaí in Kilkenny seized a vehicle from a speeding novice driver.
The vehicle was intercepted on the N76 (Kilkenny to Callan road) after being recorded doing a speed of 128 km/h.
It was then discovered by gardaí that the motorist was also uninsured.
The vehicle was subsequently seized.
