The plane landed in the Kilcavan area of County Wexford
A light aircraft returning from a flight over Kilkenny and Waterford last Friday was forced to make an emergency landing in the Kilcavan area of County Wexford.
It is understood that the plane was carrying a pilot and one passenger and that they made a successful emergency landing in a local farmer's field.
According to a report in the Gorey Guardian, no injuries reportedly occurred.
