Due to water quality issues at Thomastown Weir Pool, swimming is prohibited until Wednesday, June 14.
This is due to risks associated with the levels of bacteria found.
Further water testing will be completed on June 13 and results are expected to be available on June 14.
Further updates will be issued on the Kilkenny County Council website and social media outlets and information will be posted at the swimming area.
