On Saturday, KIlkenny Roads Policing Unit were conducting a speed checking on M8 Urlingford when they detected this vehicle (pictured above) driving at 166kph.
Traffic at the time was heavy due to many people on holidays.
"Please slow down and arrive alive," gardaí stated.
