Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, along with Minister of State for Community Development and Charities, Joe O’Brien TD, have announced the recipients of funding under the 2022 Community Support Fund.
The initiative, driven by 'Our Rural Future', strives to support grassroots projects in local communities nationwide.
Minister Humphreys emphasized the importance of this funding, stating that it provides a much-needed helping hand to local groups and clubs in managing their energy costs, insurance, and other overheads.
Despite the grants' modest size, they have the power to create a significant impact by enabling community organisations to carry out vital works in their areas.
