Kilkenny Relay for Life held their cheque presentation ceremony evening on Wednesday, September 20 at the Orchard House in Kilkenny City.
The event, hosted by long-time member George Chandler, brought together teams, supporters and committee members together to celebrate a cheque of €40,283.78 being presented to the Irish Cancer Society.
Kilkenny Relay for Life via social media said: "Thank you so much to all the teams, businesses and to the people of Kilkenny for contributing to this total. This money will help so many people access services at a time in their life where they need as much support as possible."
