TJ Reid's wife Niamh's car is recovered after it was stolen outside home

Influencer's car is recovered after it was stolen outside her Limerick home

The thieves broke into the Limerick home of Niamh de Brún-Reid and stole two sets of car keys which had been left in the kitchen area

Influencer Niamh de Brún-Reid’s car has been located after it was stolen from outside her home in Limerick.

Her white Range Rover, as well as her mother’s black BMW, were both stolen in Clonmacken on the Ennis Road between the hours of 1am and 2am on Friday, September 29. 

Niamh, who is married to Kilkenny hurler TJ reid, says her car was recovered by gardaí at Bruach Na Sionna, O’ Brien’s Bridge at 9am on Saturday September 30. However, her mother, Bríd de Brún’s car still remains missing. 

The thieves broke into the family home and stole two sets of car keys which had been left in the kitchen area which were then used to steal both cars belonging to the family.  


Niamh is married to Kilkenny and Ballyhale Shamrocks hurler TJ Reid with whom she shares baby Harper and the family are currently building their dream home in Kilkenny. 

Niamh shared that her daughter Harper's car seat and buggy frame were in the car at the time of the theft.

Addressing her 78,000 Instagram followers about the incident, Niamh wrote; “Material things can be replaced. Harper, my parents and I are safe so that's all that matters. Thanks to everyone who has shared the post and reached out.”
