There are 11 patients waiting on trolleys in the emergency department at St Luke’s General Hospital, Kilkenny today (October 19).
There are also a further 4 patients waiting on the wards according to the latest daily Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO).
Nationally, there are 379 admitted patients waiting for beds today, 276 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 103 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
