A man (40s) has been killed in a single vehicle road collision in South Kilkenny.
The incident occurred at approximately 4.30pm on the R448 at Moneroe, near the village of Knocktopher.
The road remains closed overnight as a technical examination takes place.
Anyone with information is asked to contact gardaí.
