Submissions from public sought over Lismaine Quarry in Kilkenny

Submissions in relation to the operation of Lismaine Quarry are being sought from the public by Kilkenny County Council.

The quarry is operated by Don O’Regan and Donie O’Regan.

Killkenny County Council is giving notice that the quarry has been registered in accordance with section 261 (3) of the Planning and Development Act 2000 as amended.

The local authority is considering imposing conditions on the operation of the quarry or considering requiring the making of a planning application and the preparation of an environmental impact assessment report in relation to the quarry.

Submissions or observations regarding the operation of the above quarry may be made to the planning authority and should be addressed to the Planning Department, Kilkenny County Council, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny or at consultkilkenny.ie

The closing date for submissions or observations is December 24.
