Kilkenny stylist honoured for 'outstanding' service

Peter Mark has honoured a Kilkenny woman amongst 117 members of its team for their 'valued contribution' and 'long-standing service' to the company.  

Emma McCarthy has worked with Peter Mark for 20 years and is currently employed in their MacDonagh Junction premises. 

Of the 117 honoured, the average length of service was 20 years, with the years of service honoured from 10 years to 40 years. 

Collectively, team members ranging from stylists to head office staff have over 2,000 years of experience in the hairdressing industry. 

Commenting on the Long Service Awards, Peter O’Rourke, CEO of Peter Mark said: "Our talented team is at the heart of our business, and I would like to sincerely thank each of them for their passion and continued dedication to the Peter Mark Group."

Peter Mark currently has 66 salons on the island of Ireland employing almost 1,400 people across the country.
