Gardaí from the traffic and community engagement units in Kilkenny were kept busy yesterday afternoon, attending a number of incidents.
In one incident, gardaí intercepted a vehicle after noticing potentially hazardous tinting on the windscreen.
According to a garda spokesperson, the driver 'had been instructed previously to remove a ridiculous windscreen tint' and 'was forced to remove it immediately before proceeding'.
"These tints jeopardise pedestrian safety and that of all other road users," gardaí added.
