Hospital staff in Kilkenny and across the country will walkout today amid an ongoing dispute over the recruitment freeze in the HSE.
Clerical and administrational staff will walkout of 15 hospitals across the country including at St Luke's General Hospital, impacting Grades 3 and 4 who are also calling for wage increases and in-house progression.
The walkout at the local hospital began at approximately 12.30pm and is not expected to impact services.
