8 High Street (The Tholsel Bar)
Global Labour Facilities Holdings Limited have lodged plans with Kilkenny County Council seeking to develop 8 High Street, Kilkenny (The Tholsel Bar).
Plans seek to erect a new timber shopfront with external signage and a fabric awning to the front and rear at ground floor level.
Also planned are minor internal alterations to the existing public house and for change of use of three upper floors from residential to short-term letting with direct access off High Street.
It is also planned to alter the basement area to incorporate new WC facilities and a beer storage area and for all other associated site works.
The application is awaiting validation by Kilkenny County Council.
