Woodstock Gardens and Arboretum in Inistioge has announced it will remain closed today (Thursday, December 21) due to severe winds.
A status yellow wind warning is currently in place for Kilkenny and every other county in Ireland until 8pm this evening.
According to Met Eireann, 'winds will be very strong at times' with potential impacts including debris and loose objects being displaced.
Difficult driving and cycling conditions are also expected.
