There are 14 patients waiting on trolleys in the emergency department at St Luke's General Hospital, Kilkenny today and a further six patients waiting on the wards.
Today's figure is an unwanted one for the local hospital, as they reach almost triple yesterday's statistics.
Overall, there were seven patients waiting for a bed in the hospital yesterday (Monday).
Nationally, there are 389 patients waiting on wards across the country and a further 197 patients waiting on the wards.
That's according to the daily INMO trolley watch figures.
