Kilkenny voters are being reminded that today (Tuesday, February 20) is the final day to register to vote in the upcoming referendums.
On Friday, March 8, people in Kilkenny and across the country are being asked to vote on two proposed changes to the Constitution.
The first Referendum concerns the concept of 'Family' in the Constitution, while the second Referendum proposes to delete an existing part of the Constitution and insert new text providing recognition for care provided by family members to each other.
You have two separate votes on whether you wish to make the proposed changes to the current text of Article 41 of the Constitution, however, in order to be eligible to vote, application details must be received by the local authority by today (Tuesday).
