Parts of Kilkenny to receive better quality drinking water

Uisce Éireann, in partnership with Kilkenny County Council has announced the signing of a new construction contract to upgrade the drinking water supply in Gowran, Goresbridge and Paulstown.

The aim of the project is to improve the quality and security of water supply for the area and provide additional capacity for new connections to the scheme. Construction is due to begin in the coming months and is set to be completed in 2025.
