Awards galore for Kilkenny restaurants at national and provincial ceremony

Kilkenny’s food industry took home a number of provincial and national accolades at last night’s Irish Restaurant Awards.

- Best National Cookery School (National) -Chef Edward Hayden's School of Cookery - READ MORE HERE

- Innovator of the Year (Leinster) - Nóinin Kilkenny

- Best Wine Experience (Leinster)- Ristorante Rinuccini 

- Best Newcomer (Leinster) -Tabú Tapas

- Best Contemporary Irish Cuisine (Leinster) -Statham's

- Best Casual Dining (Leinster) - Arán

- Best Chef (Leinster) - John Kelly at Mount Juliet Estate Lady Helen Restaurant.

Meanwhile, Butcher Kilkenny was named the Best Steakhouse in Ireland and Eugene McSweeney received a standing ovation to honour his 60 years service in the Catering Industry at the YesChef Awards recently.
