The quick reaction of a Kilkenny garda earlier today meant it was the end of the road for one local motorist.
"Out and about today, one of our lads met this vehicle," a garda spokesperson said.

"A quick check on the garda mobility device found insurance to be invalid.
"Some furious cycling (some of it uphill), yielded this vehicle (pictured above) for the compound.
"Summonses for several offences to follow."
