Major public amenity in Kilkenny facing temporary closure

Recent pavement surfacing works on a stretch of the greenway in South Kilkenny

Due to development works, a major pubic amenity in County Kilkenny is poised to close to the public temporarily, later this month.

The South-East Greenway, from Rosbercon to Raheen, will be closed to the public to facilitate the installation of public lighting on the following dates and times:

November 11 – November 15 between 8am – 5pm
November 18 – November 20 between 8am – 5pm

There will be no through access between Glenmore and New Ross during this time.

Kilkenny County Council apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
