BREAKING: Hundreds reportedly without power in Kilkenny amid snowstorm

Hundreds of customers are reportedly without power in Kilkenny tonight as freezing conditions and heavy falls of snow are impacting the county.

According to the latest status update from the ESB (as of 1.25am) - 523 customers are impacted in Callan, 405 in Goresbridge, 37 in Ballyragget and 74 on the Kilkenny-Tipperary border at Glengoole.

Those impacted have been given the following message from ESB Networks: "We apologise for the loss of supply. We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible."
