Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that bridge inspection works will be carried out in the coming week by Irish Rail on the R448 at Granny on Wednesday, January 8.
"Works will take place between 10am and 12 noon approximately," the local authority stated.

"Temporary traffic management including STOP/GO will be in operation during the course of these works and motorists are advised to expect delays.
"Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause."
