Three horses impounded by authority in Kilkenny

The animals have been impounded by Kilkenny County Council

Kilkenny County Council is currently in possession of three horses which were impounded on Friday, January 3.

The horses were impounded from Glenmore in South Kilkenny and all three are described as piebald males (two years old) who were not previously microchipped.

According to the local authority, "Should these animals remain unclaimed after Wednesday next January 15, 2025 they will be
sold/disposed/rehomed as appropriate.

"Sale/disposal will take place as outlined in the Control of Horses Act, 1996."
