Plans for an extension to Church Hill National School in Cuffesgrange, County Kilkenny have been appealed to An Bord Pleanála.

Other items planned in the original application to Kilkenny County Council included - a new staff and dedicated S.E.N. parking area, ew replacement ballcourt, temporary vehicular entrance for construction access via adjacent agricultural laneway and removal of existing prefabricated buildings upon completion of the extension.

The planning application was originally granted permission by Kilkenny County Council, subject to 17 conditions, in December 2024.

The case is now due to be decided by An Bord Pleanála by May 15, 2025.
